WORK Starting with the Database
Solutions, publisher of the Data Base Advisor Magazine, in 1982 he
has been active in the active in the LAN and networking industry
since its inception.
After Data Base Advisor, he served as VP and
General Manager at Vortex Data Systems directing educational and
integration services and co-authored a book on networking in 1989.
He then founded BMC Group, a consulting and education development
company working with fortune 1000 and networking companies. While at
BMC group he become a regular speaker at seminars and tradeshows. In
addition to speaking, he developed and taught courses on new
products and technologies.
Mark became VP/CTO of Logic Network Solutions in
1994 after merging and creating the new company. After leaving Logic
and researching new industries trends, Mark invested in IP Telephony
in 1998 by becoming a reseller for Selsius Systems which was later
acquired by Cisco Systems and forms the basis of Cisco's IP
Telephony product line.
In December 1998 Mark joined Pearl Technologies
as President bringing his Selsius and IP Telephony relationships. At
Pearl he directed Pearls integration business and worked with their
ISP division, SelectNet. Mark left Pearl in 2001 founding Valcros
Communications to focus on IP Telephony, converged communications
and network automation/information devices.
Mark Munger was CEO of Valcros from 2001 through 2007. Valcros was
an leading edge integrator with Convergence, VoIP and Unified
Communications.

TODAY
Mark is working with hotels, condominiums, retail, resort, and
multi-use developments creating unique designs to attract customers
and reduce both construction and operation costs. A focus on Smart
Buildings or Intelligent Buildings with the network as a utility
forms the basis of this consulting.
Mark also works with large home and estate owners to develop and
implement innovative products to produce productive tools in using
and managing these assets and providing a better quality of life.

FUTURE
